I'm under prisoner Okorocha talks as EFCC lays attack at his Abuja home

Previous Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha has responded to the presence of officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) at his Maitama home in Abuja today May 24.

Agents of the counter unite organization raged Okorocha's condo earlier today.

In a meeting with Channels TV, Okorocha who is seeking to be the APC Presidential flagbearer, said he is being held prisoner at his premises.

"I'm under prisoner I would agree, the EFCC is at my home both the back and the front. I would agree, I have enquired assuming that they have a capture don't warrant anything, and I should prepare for screening.
"I don't have the foggiest idea what is truly occurring, It is lamentable that this is going on here." he affirmed.
Okorocha revealed that his next line of activity will be to hold a public interview, adding that the EFCC can't prevent the press from going into his home.
"I'm attempting to address a public interview, obviously, the EFCC can't prevent the press from coming into my premises. They are inside my compound yet the press is coming inside my home to talk with me, they can't stop them, he demanded".
When inquired as to whether he would submit himself to the counter unite office, the official competitor said;
"I'll be here until I know what it is, on the grounds that this is something significant, I need to see a capture warrant or a court request." he said
The EFCC had on January 31 documented a 17-count charge as a detriment to the previous Imo lead representative under the watchful eye of a government high court in Abuja. The charge had become known hours after he officially announced his expectation to run for president in 2023.
