Assemblies of God in Nigeria are also saying goodbye to their formal General Supretendent, Ejim Ejikeme.

In addition to electing a new general superintendent

On Tuesday, Rev. Pastor Ejikeme Ejim, the general superintendent of the Assemblies of God Church in Nigeria, announced his resignation.

Along with the Church Treasurer, Rev. Dr. Vincent Alaje, the GS retired.

Rev. Frimpong Manso, Rtd. General Superintendent, Ghana, served as the guest speaker at a ceremony to commemorate the end of their service, which was held at the International Conference Centre of the Assemblies of God in Okpoto, Ebonyi State.

The two church leaders shared the same month of November of birth, the DAILY POST learned.

They were both born in 1952, received calls to the ministry in 1979, went to the same Bible school, and received their diplomas on the same day in 1981.

They advanced in the ministry and attained the rank of General Council Officer.

Rev. Ejike succeeded Rev. Dr. Chidi Okoroafor as the Church's acting general superintendent in March 2020.

He was officially confirmed as General Superintendent by the General Committee of the Assemblies of God Nigeria in August of that same year.

At the occasion, Ejim was commended for bringing harmony and stability to the Church.
