“this is not the standard for exercising in pregnancy. If she is a professional athlete or trainer whose body is already used to this degree of stress and she is carrying a normal uncomplicated pregnancy, it’s possible she may not suffer any risks. But still, this is not the standard. We generally advise that pregnant women who are having normal uncomplicated pregnancies limit exercise to moderate intensity (150 minutes per week of walking, swimming,
jogging, stationary bicycling or dancing). Bottom Line is, MODERATION IS KEY. Don’t go and make things too easy for your village people.”
